Workshops

We all have little time. So let's make the best of it!

For me, workshops are often the best format to quickly get all the important people around the table to make decisions and have everyone in the same boat.

This workshop can last 1, 2, 4, 8 hours or a whole day. I love workshops and prefer to work simultaneously and collaboratively rather than constantly playing email ping-pong - misunderstandings are inevitable. I also don't think much of the resulting constant exchange appointments, where everyone has to be brought up to speed first. Time is money, so let's get straight to it!

Noun-Foraging & Object Mapping Workshop

This workshop aims to look at a new product or feature together with Stakeholden and Development and to find and define the central objects. Key questions and discussions often arise here, which pave the way for further collaboration.

Product Vision & Goal Workshop

If customers have difficulty verbalizing their ideas, then working with the Product Vision Board is a good template for this workshop.

Information Architecture 101

Manchmal muss es auch ganz platt um die Vermittlung von Fachwissen gehen - von Kund:innen ans Entwicklungsteam oder auch von Stakeholdern an die User. Hierfür ist dieser Workshop gedacht, in dem eine Baumstruktur mit abzubildender Information gebaut wird, um zu analysieren, welche weiteren Komponenten von wem bereitgestellt werden müssen (think: Drittprogramme, Anbindungen, Marketingmaterial, Texte, Übersetzugen, Bilder, etc.). Ein hilfreiches Tool, um den Entwicklungsprozess zu UXen :-)

Individual Workshops

Of course, I also like to plan a workshop according to the situation in order to quickly deliver great added value. These workshops can also focus on sales, product ownership, etc. Thanks to my many years of teaching experience, I can provide a broad spectrum of support in planning and moderating.

OOUX Workshop

This workshop is an extension of the first one and can be thought of as an entire jump. I like to take a whole day to go through the first Discoverz phase of the ORCA process with all stakeholders. As a result, customers are then sent a first draft of an object guide.

Lean UX Canvassing

Together with the entire development team, it is often advisable to have a basic idea of the upcoming project. I like to use the Lean UX Canvas as a basis for this.

Scrum Bake-Off

This workshop was created to prepare a Scrum team for the PSM I exam. The central contents of the Scrum Guide are taught, e.g. values and pillars, but the process is brought to life using a mini-product: cakes are baked together.

OOUX x Devs

Skills Lab

This tried-and-tested workshop is ideal for explaining the logic of OOUX and the ORCA process to the development team in relation to their usual object-oriented programming languages and enabling them to work directly with the OOUX artifacts. Aha-moments for all included!

Paper-Prototyping

Customers often already have very specific implementation ideas for their feature. It makes sense to visualize these ideas in a short workshop format and draw initial wireframes on posits and, if necessary, think through flows. A nice side effect: customers feel better understood and UX work is perceived as much more complex.

Roadmapping

At the beginning of a project, a larger development project must be planned. The workshop format is suitable for this in order to get all decision-makers around the table and to develop a milestone plan and prioritization of goals collaboratively and transparently for everyone so that a commitment can be achieved
